COMMUNITY GRANTS
Since its inception in 1978, The Ligonier Valley Endowment has awarded over $4.0 million to organizations and $122,000 in scholarships within the geographical boundaries of the Ligonier Valley School District. The Endowment has given grants ranging from $500 to $75,000. More than 100 nonprofit organizations in the Ligonier Valley have benefitted from the community grants program.
A grant proposal may be considered for funding if all criteria is met.
- Grants can be made only to an organization having tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Projects must benefit and/or service the communities and residents within the geographical boundaries of the Ligonier Valley School District.
- All information outlined on the Ligonier Valley Endowment Grant Request Form must be complete upon submission.
- Grant requests are considered on a quarterly basis by the Board of Governors of The Ligonier Valley Endowment and must be received by the established quarterly dates.
Grant submission deadlines for 2024:
- January 19 (First Quarter)
- April 19 (Second Quarter)
- July 19 (Third Quarter)
- October 18 (Fourth Quarter)
